AUSTIN (July 28, 2010) – The results of the first ever Beverage World BevStar awards are out and Sweet Leaf Tea is taking home the silver in the ready-to-drink category for its delicious Citrus Green Tea. The new flavor, which made its debut in stores in May 2010, is a blend of premium organic green tea and organic cane sugar, and follows in a long tradition of homemade-quality iced tea drinks.

 

Judged on criteria including ingredients, packaging, market positioning, and uniqueness, the Beverage World BevStar awards are meant to recognize innovation in brands across all categories.
