SWEET LEAF TEA LAUNCHES "SWEET LEAF SWEET SPOT" DIGITAL MEDIA CAMPAIGNAUSTIN (July 1, 2010) – This summer, Sweet Leaf Tea is putting forth a call to action for tea-fans across the nation as they introduce the “Sweet Leaf Sweet Spot” – a new interactive digital media campaign. Beginning July 1 and ending October 10 after Austin City Limits, the digital initiative will allow fans to interact with the company by submitting a photo of their “Sweet Leaf sweet spot” for a chance to win prizes, the most coveted of which is two grand prizes of a VIP Trip including VIP festival tickets, flight and hotel to either Lollapalooza or the Austin City Limits (ACL) music festival. To enter to win, contestants must submit a picture of where they like to enjoy Sweet Leaf Tea via Twitter using the hashtag #sweetleafsweetspot followed by their state hashtag #TX or the contest page http://www.sweetleafsweetspot.com. Once received, Sweet Leaf Tea will respond with a link to that particular photo via Twitter or via email. Contestants are then encouraged to get votes in the form of Twitter ‘retweets’ and Facebook ‘likes’ for a chance to win one of the two grand prize VIP Trips. On select dates, Sweet Leaf Tea will select 12 winners from various regions to win a year’s supply of tea. “Sweet Leaf Sweet Spot” contest was designed to provide fans with the opportunity to win fun prizes by showcasing distinct locations throughout the nation where they like to enjoy their favorite Sweet Leaf Tea flavors,” said Sweet Leaf Tea Brand Marketing Manager Charla Adams. “Being that social media vehicles like Facebook and Twitter have become a part of everyday life, this initiative makes it easy to enter and win. We love our Sweet Leaf Tea family of supporters, and are looking forward to rewarding them with some cool summer freebies.” In addition to the aforementioned prizes, Sweet Leaf Tea will also be giving away a Sweet Leaf Tea Epiphone guitar to one attendee at both Lollapalooza and ACL by way of a special on-site contest to tweet your “festival sweet spot.” For official rules and guidelines on the “Sweet Leaf Sweet Spot” campaign, please visit www.sweetleafsweetspot.com or the Sweet Leaf Tea Facebook (www.facebook.com/sweetleaftea) or Twitter (www.twitter.com/sweetleaftea.com) account. |
